Industrial Jurisprudence

Q Module Nine discusses Industrial Jurisprudence or job security. What does it mean to have seniority? Would you, as a member of a union feel comfortable "bumping" a co-worker who has less seniority than you? Is this a good system to use when it is probable that the newer employees may have access to technology that allows them to be more efficient at the job?

Seniority can be considered as a perfect approach to give preferences to an older employee who is there involved with the organization in a proper manner. Being a member of a union feel comfortable "bumping" a co-worker who has less seniority than me then I would like to consider the seniority. I also believe that it is a good practice to consider the senior person in different job situations, like promotion, recall and layoff. A senior employee always ahs enough experience, therefore, it is a good system to use when it is probable that the newer employees may have access to technology that allows them to be more efficient at the job in a proper manner (Hitka, & Balážová, 2015).
